Vern Express - Stops & Routes

Stops

Under normal operating conditions, the Vern Express (TVE) will drop off at each of the following locations. Although you are welcome to board at any location, the Vern Express will only wait to pick up passengers at the primary location on each campus. Departure times refer to these primary locations.

The Vern Express stops on the Foggy Bottom Campus

G Street between 22nd and 23rd Streets (Funger Hall) (primary location)
2025 E Street, NW (Red Cross Building)
2601 Virginia Avenue (Hall on Virginia Avenue (HOVA), across from the Watergate),
- Except on weekdays between 6am and 10am.

The Vern Express stops on the Mount Vernon Campus

Pickup: Somers Hall
Drop-off: Eckles Library

Routes

Under normal operating conditions, the Vern Express runs on the following primary routes, stopping exclusively at the above-mentioned stops. On occasion, alternate routes may be used in the event of emergencies, road work, or significant traffic delays along the primary routes (but shall not include W Street and 48th Street NW).
