Accommodation and Height Clearance

Standard size vans or trucks can be accommodated as long as the entire vehicle will clear 6'5”. The University will try to accommodate all established parking arrangements, however parkers are not guaranteed a space.

GW is an urban campus in the heart of downtown DC and well served by public transit.  Unfortunately, finding parking within the downtown area can be challenging and extremely expensives so we strongly encourage Summer Residents & Interns to please consider leaving your vehicles at home. The limited parking spaces are issued on a first come/first serve basis.
