Virginia Square Campus (Arlington, VA)

The Leadership Coaching Certificate program focuses on the role that coaching plays in enhancing and developing leadership within organizations, particularly from an integrated systems perspective. The Leadership Coaching Certificate program combines an emerging theory of coaching with an introduction to the practice of organizational coaching.

Students within the Leadership Certificate program emerge with a multidimensional systems perspective, geared towards:

· Integrating solutions
· Resolving conflict
· Driving performance
· Enhancing collaboration
· Transforming culture

Note 1: Starting with registrations for Summer 2006, the Organizational Sciences Program will no longer accept non-certificate or non-degree students into our Leadership Coaching classes. Only students who have been admitted to the Certificate Program or students currently in the Masters program may enroll. Further, masters candidates may not just earn the certificate - they must apply and be accepted into the Leadership Coaching program.

Note 2: Any three (of the four) coaching courses can be applied towards credit in our Organizational Management or Human Resources Management Master’s Degree Programs.

Four-courses are taken in sequence and are scheduled on weekends (Fridays 6 - 9 pm and Saturdays 9am - 5pm). Each weekend is scheduled approximately one month apart and three weekends per course are included.
