The need for highly qualified, motivated, and dedicated workers has never been greater. Organizations are continually seeking outstanding individuals who can be recruited, selected, and developed, and whose performance adds to the organization's bottom line. The Human Resources Management (HRM) Program provides the comprehensive foundation necessary for today's Human Resources (HR) managers, to help their organizations select and retain the finest employees available.
We accomplish this mission by providing an integrated curriculum focused on courses in three overlapping knowledge areas: Strategy & Change Management, Leadership & Communication, and Performance & Talent Management. Graduating students emerge with an intellectual and skill-based package of theory, techniques, and tools - all of which help them to successfully manage their institutions’ environmental landscapes.
The Human Resources Management program incorporates the latest thinking on HR practices with a solid foundation in theory and proven principles. Its purpose is to prepare individuals to be Human Resources professionals in today's dynamic and increasingly global organizations. Our curriculum is designed to prepare you with a general foundation in HR, although the program is flexible enough for you to create your own areas of specialization. An interdisciplinary faculty, creating a foundation in systems thinking, drives the HRM Graduate Program. This program offers students the opportunity to complete the 12-course curriculum within two-years.
