About the Speaker

EDWIN P. HOLLANDER is Professor Emeritus at Baruch College where he was previously University Distinguished Professor of Psychology. He has had a long and distinguished career at several other schools including the State University of New York, Carnegie Mellon, and American University. He is a recipient of numerous and prestigious awards for his contribution to the field of psychology and applied leadership research. Dr. Hollander’s research seeks an understanding of follower expectations and perceptions of leaders, and the consequences to their relationship. He is the author of several books and numerous articles. His authored books include Leaders, Groups, and Influence, Leadership Dynamics, and Principles and Methods of Social Psychology.
