Admissions

Requirements

The following information MUST be submitted to the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences by January 15 to be considered for admission to the I/O Psychology Program for the following fall.

One transcript from each college and university attended, regardless of whether or not a degree program was completed.

The average undergraduate GPA of students enrolled in the I/O Psychology program is 3.6.

Three letters of recommendations, preferably from individuals who can speak to your academic performance and potential.

Scores from the general test of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). The average scores for students enrolled in the I/O Psychology program are 573 for the GRE-V and 640 for the GRE-Q. We do not require the GRE-subject test for psychology.

TOEFL scores are required of all applicants who are citizens of countries where English is not an official language and who do not hold a degree from a college or university in which English is the language of instruction.

Statement of purpose essay (250 to 500 words long) stating your purpose in undertaking graduate study in industrial/organizational psychology.
