The Office is responsible for the implementation of the recommendations in the 1998 Strategic Plan to Increase Undergraduate Retention and Graduation Rates. Efforts are designed to increase GW's understanding of and to improve student retention and progress toward graduation. In 2002, a Task Force was established to review the status of the 1998 Strategic Plan and to make further recommendations.
