OBAMA RADIO NATION 2009 - A CELEBRATION OF PRESIDENT-ELECT BARACK OBAMA'S INAUGURATION AND PROGRESSIVE TALK-RADIO

EVENT:
Obama Radio Nation 2009 is a three-hour live national radio broadcast featuring the country's leading progressive talk radio hosts. Nationally-syndicated progressive talk-radio host Bill Press will be joined by Stephanie Miller, Ed Schultz, Randi Rhodes, Rev. Al Sharpton, Arianna Huffington, Brian Schweitzer (D-Mo.), Joe Madison, Mario Solis-Marich and other special guests. The "house band" the Capitol Hillbillies will perform throughout the program, for the tribute to this once-in-a-lifetime moment that is transforming our country and the world.

Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009; 4 - 7 p.m.

The event will be broadcast live on C-SPAN.

COST:
100 free tickets are available for GW students at the GW Lisner Box Office. One ticket per student with GWorld ID. A limited number of additional tickets have been allotted for students at a discounted rate of $10.
Members of the GW community wishing to attend can purchase tickets at the GW Lisner Box Office. General admission is $35. VIP tickets are $75 and include a post-event reception in the Marvin Center's Grand Ballroom.
The GW Lisner Box Office is open Tuesdays through Fridays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
