GW Community Rides Free on New West Falls Church Express Bus

Members of the GW community soon will have a new, free way to reach the University's Virginia Campus located in Ashburn, Va. Beginning Monday, March 2, Virginia Regional Transit and Loudoun County will launch the new West Falls Church Express bus service, connecting West Falls Church Metro to Loudoun County. The bus will make two stops at GW's Virginia Campus, and service will be free for GWorld card-holders.

The bus will pick up from the main entrances of Research I and Building II and run Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:15 a.m. and 7 p.m. This new service will replace GW's existing commuter shuttle service to and from the West Falls Church Metro station, which only offered limited morning and evening service.

Fares for the general public will be $1 each way. Transfers to other Virginia Regional Transit services, except for on-demand service, are available. For more information, visit www.vatransit.org.

The GW Virginia Campus Shuttle, with multiple daily stops on the Foggy Bottom and Virginia campuses, will continue operating as normal. For more information, visit http://www.va.gwu.edu/studentservices/vanpool.html.???????????
