Twelve Receive New Gamow Research Fellowships

Twelve students and their mentors have been awarded GW’s new George Gamow (pictured) Undergraduate Research Fellowships. Established this year, these awards are intended to nurture the careers of promising scholars by providing meaningful, mentored research experiences to top sophomores and juniors who intend to pursue a graduate career — and to advance the research programs of GW faculty in the process. Photo Exhibition Highlighting 75 Years of CBS Broadcast History Now On Display

In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of CBS, which began broadcasting as a radio network in 1927, The George Washington University presents “America Through the CBS Eye,” a fine art photo exhibition of memorable images taken by CBS photographers. The exhibition runs through Oct. 18 at the Luther Brady Art Gallery in the Media and Public Affairs Building. READ
