The 2005 Kaplan/Newsweek "How to Get into College" Guide named GW as the hottest university in the nation for "political junkies." GW is commended for its blend of academics and politics in the classroom and throughout campus, as well as for its fixed tuition program. READ

GW Receives $1.5 Million Grant to Develop Protein Microscope

The Institute for Proteomics Technology and Applications received a three-year, $1.5 million grant from the W.M. Keck Foundation to develop a new in vivo "protein microscope" that will allow researchers to view how proteins interact in living tissue. READ
