GW Records Largest Jump in Universities Receiving NIH Funding

GW jumped 27 spots in the list of the top 100 universities receiving National Institutes of Health funding, the largest increase within that list. The University totaled $73.4 million in NIH funds in 2002, a 241 percent increase from 1998. READ

New Fixed-Rate Tuition Plan for Incoming Freshmen to Eliminate Uncertainty

GW's Board of Trustees has approved a new fixed-rate tuition plan for incoming freshmen that will provide cost certainty for families and will also guarantee a minimum level of financial assistance for students awarded merit and need-based institutional aid at the time of enrollment. READ

A prospective student from Ohio unknowingly became a part of GW history Wednesday as the 20,000th undergraduate applicant to the University in one year. READ
