GW Inducts Five New Members Into Athletic Hall of Fame
Membership in GW's Athletic Hall of Fame
expanded from 111 to 116 on Saturday when five newly-elected
members were inducted. The five representing four sports
and athletic academic administration are Tajama Abraham
Ngongba, women's basketball; Bambi (Bowman) Burgess, women's
swimming; Sheila Hoben, athletic academic administrator; Scott
R. Lutz, golf; and Glauco R. Souza, men's water polo. READ

Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine
Albright visited the Elliott School of International Affairs
on Tuesday to discuss foreign policy and her recently published
memoirs.

Outdoor Ice Skating Rink Headlined Welcome Week Festivities
As students returned to GW last week after
the winter break, not only did they sharpen their pencils,
but they sharpened their skates. For the first time, an outdoor
ice rink was set up on campus at the University Yard.
