Geography Bowl Team Sweeps Regionals

Ten geography students traveled to Charlotte, N.C., to compete in the Southeast Division Regionals of the World Geography Bowl sponsored by the Association of American Geographers (AAG). The GW team, which represented the Mid-Atlantic Division, swept the competition going undefeated in 10 rounds of play and earned a bid to the World Geography Bowl championship that will be held in Philadelphia in March 2004.
