Admissions Numbers Hit the Mark

GW’s new class of freshmen represents the most selectively admitted and most academically qualified in University history, according to the latest statistics. A mere 38 percent of applicants for the Class of 2007 were admitted, a percentage that has tumbled 10 points over two years and 20 points over the last decade. READ

D.C. City Council Honors Neighbors Project

To mark 10 years of outstanding service to the District of Columbia, the D.C. City Council passed a resolution honoring The George Washington University’s Neighbors Project, a student-run service program that coordinates volunteerism in the Shaw neighborhood and adjacent areas of the District.
