United States Supreme Court Associate Justice Sandra Day O’Connor is scheduled to address this year’s Law School graduates at their Commencement ceremony May 25. Nominated by former President Ronald Reagan, O’Connor has served on the nation’s highest court since 1981. READ

Practicing Geography for Sport

Seven GW students representing the Mid-Atlantic Division of the Association of American Geographers (AAG) took third place out of nine teams at the World Geography Bowl. The academic competition is part of the 99th Annual AAG meeting held in New Orleans. READ

Women's Basketball Team Wins Conference Championship, Headed to NCAA Tournament

GW's women's basketball team continued its dominance of the Atlantic 10 by winning the conference championship. The Colonials are slated to play Oklahoma on March 23 in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. READ
