Congratulations on your orders to the Washington, D.C. area!

The NROTC Unit will handle administrative tasks such as leave, fitness reports, urinanalysis and the Physical Fitness Assessment. While stationed at GWNROTC, you will not be required to muster with the command on a daily basis as your primary duty is to attend classes. However, you may be required to report to the unit for certain administrative tasks, and your attendance will take priority over other events you have scheduled/planned.

Arriving at GW NROTCU. Please call ahead prior to checking in to the command. For the check-in process, please bring a copy of your orders and most recent fitness report. The remainder of the check-in process will be conducted at PSD.

 

Local military resources.  All Navy activities and personnel in our area are subordinate to Naval District Washington (NDW).  There are numerous military bases, landmarks, and units in the area.

Mass transit benefits.  While stationed as a DUIN, you are eligible for the Mass Transportation Benfit Program. To enroll in the program,  please click here.

Military housing.  Washington, DC is not considered a critical housing area and government housing is available throughout the region. The normal waiting list time for government units is about two to twelve months. Click here for BAH rates - use zipcode 20052.
