The George Washington University is pleased to have the opportunity to offer a variety of education programs to U.S. Navy medical personnel. Since the 1970's, The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences has offered programs in affiliation with the U.S. Navy, awarding degrees in the fields of advanced hospital corps school, medical laboratory technician, nuclear medicine technology, oral biology, physician assistant, radiologic technology, and undersea medical technology. Within the last few years, the Health Sciences Programs has continued this commitment to meeting the educational needs of the armed forces, both through contracts with the Army and the Navy and by developing specialized distance learning degree programs that provide professional expertise and career pathways for military personnel with backgrounds in health care fields.
