Ms. Mikolajewski, the departmentís Staff Accompanist, has been active with Washington Opera's Artists-in-the-Schools programs, and has participated in Washington Opera's Summer Opera Camp the as Accompanist and Music Counselor. She also has worked and performed with organizations throughout the area such as the IN-Series at Mt. Vernon College, Opera Americana, Alexandria Choral Society, Musikanten, and others. In addition to accompanying vocalists, Alice also accompanies instrumentalists in recitals and competitions. She has been an accompanist for the National Trumpet Competition at George Mason University, and Arlington Women's Club Voice Achievement Awards Competition of Northern Virginia. Recently she was the accompanist for Northern Arizona University's Summer Saxophone Workshop. Some of the productions Alice has worked on since living in Washington include: Arne's Thomas and Sally, Harbison's Full Moon in March, Menotti's The Telephone, Mozart's Don Giovanni, La Clemenza di Tito, Le Nozze di Figaro, Die Zauberflote (under the direction of Victor Borge), Sousa's El Capitan, Strauss' Die Fledermaus, and Weill's Happy End.
