Cello Choir

Cello duets and trios performing selected repertoire.

Flute Choir

The Flute Choir provides flutists an opportunity to perform a wide variety of literature scored for flutes alone.
**Auditions: Held during the first week of classes. Requirements: Two contrasting pieces of repertoire; major scales.

Guitar Ensemble

The GW Guitar Ensemble gives guitar students a chance to play together, to improve sight-reading and to learn chamber repertoire.

Keyboard Ensembles

Piano quartets, piano quintets, piano trios, piano duos, or piano four-hands.

Percussion Ensemble

A conducted ensemble of three or more players using the complete spectrum of percussion instruments.

Recorder Consort

Small ensemble of recorders playing traditional repertoire.

String Ensembles

String quartets and trios, with and without piano.

Trumpet Ensemble

Various size ensembles, including trumpet, piccolo trumpet and flugelhorn, which perform a wide variety of repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to the twentieth century.

Woodwind Ensembles

Woodwind quintets, quartets, trios and duos.
