*Plus $300 minimum for audio/visual support per person for four hours. $75 each additional hour per person.

We will provide you with an archival digital audio recording of your event for an additional $75. We also can provide an archival DVD recording for an additional $150.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CLIENTS WHO REQUEST TV PRODUCTION SERVICES AND/OR MUSICAL PRODUCTION SERVICES WILL BE CHARGED THE $2,500 RATE. THIS RATE APPLIES IF:


- The event is being filmed.
- The event requires scenic and/or lighting changes, multiple acts, etc.
- The event includes singing, dancing or live music.
- The event calls for live video mixing.
- The event requires hiring outside audio/visual technicians.

Rental fees include set up, clean up, tables and chairs available within the MPA building, housekeeping and an on-site student manager. The green room and 2nd floor gallery lobby are also available to the client at no extra charge. It is the responsibility of the client to arrange for and pay all catering fees through GWU Colonial Catering at (202) 994-7472 or Catering Solutions at (202) 775-8367 (outside caterers must submit a Certificate of Liability Insurance prior to the event.) You may also bring in your own caterer. Rental fees do not include security guards or additional out-of-house equipment.

*To request only the 2nd Floor Art Gallery Lobby Reception space, request forms must be submitted one month prior to the event date, no sooner, to receive the discounted charge. If reserved earlier than 30 days, you will be charged the full amount of renting the Jack Morton Auditorium.

Schedule of Payments:

GW Departments/Student Groups

At time of Booking: For departments, completed Reservation Request Form including six-digit Banner number. For student groups, completed Interdepartmental Procurement (IP) Form for full amount, on the Oracle Financial System. The Oracle account number designated for the MPA Building is 59535. No other number can be used.

 

Non-GW Community Clients

At time of Booking: $250 Security Deposit (Fully refundable following event, assuming no damages)
Date of Contract: 50% of total Rental Fees
Day of Rental: 50% of total Rental Fees (Final Payment)

 

Cancellations and Refunds:

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING.

Jack Morton Auditorium rental cancellation:

More than 30 Days before rental date: No charge/full refund
Less than 30 days before rental date: 50% charge of full rental amount

 

Cancellations or changes in A/V technician needs or event call times:

Less than 48 hours before event call time: 50% charge for technical services
Less than 24 hours before event call time: Full charge for technical services
