Employment

MPA and MPP students are encouraged to visit the Office of Career Services for assistance with their job searches.  You can access the office on the 6th Floor of the MPA/MPP building.  You can also e-mail Paul Binkley at pbinkley@gwu.edu to set up an appointment to talk about your career interests. Career resources are also available through the following websites:

  • GWork, GWork is the web-based system used by George Washington University to post job opportunities for co-op federal work-study, full-time positions, part-time positions, interships, and summer employment for students and alumni.  GWork allows you to apply for jobs online and even sign-up for on campus interviews.
  • My TSCareer, The TS Career website is a career resource system used exclusively by students and alumni in the Trachtenburg school.  The website allows you to search for jobs and internships, post your resume, and even schedule interviews.  The website also keeps you up-to-date on all the Trachtenburg school career events and allows you to RSVP to events that you would like to attend.
