Michael Moore
Associate Professor of Economics and International Affairs

Moore has just completed a year as senior economist for international trade at the White House Council of Economic Advisors, where he provided much of the economic analysis used in recent administration reviews of steel trade policy. Professor Moore has been a long-time observer of the steel industry since working at a U.S. steel mill during his college days. He has published two academic journal articles on the U.S. and European steel industries, two book chapters on U.S. steel trade policy and opinion pieces in The Washington Post and Financial Times on recent steel trade disputes.
