Professor Rosen teaches constitutional law and criminal
procedure. He is also the legal affairs editor of The New Republic. His essays
and book reviews have appeared in many publications, including The New Republic,
The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, the Atlantic Monthly,
Constitutional Commentary, and the Yale Law Journal. His first book, The
Unwanted Gaze: The Violation of Privacy at Home, at Work, and in Cyberspace,
will be published in June, 2000.

Jerome Barron
Lyle T. Alverson Professor of Law
Professor Barron joined the faculty in 1965. He served as
dean of the Law School from 1979 to 1988. He has argued and participated in
First Amendment cases in the U.S. Supreme Court and served as a consultant to
the Senate Committee on Presidential Campaign Activities (Watergate).
