John Logsdon
Director, Space Policy Institute at GW's Elliott School of International Affairs

Professor Logsdon was the first holder of the Chair in Space History of the National Air and Space Museum. He is author of The Decision to Go to the Moon: Project Apollo and the National Interest (1970), general editor of the multi-volume series Exploring the Unknown: Selected Documents in the Evolution of the U.S. Civilian Space Program, and editor of Eye in the Sky: The Story of the Corona Spy Satellites (1998). He appears frequently in broadcast and print interviews commenting on space issues.
