Vahid Montevalli
Director of The Aviation Institute, Director of the Aviation Safety and Security Management Security Program
Dr. Motevalli is a associate research professor at the GW Transportation Research Institute, and co-founder of the Aviation Institute. He was selected as a Congressional Fellow by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and served on the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Science in 1995-96. In 1997, he served as an Executive Committee member and Co-Chairman, Safety Track, International Conference of Aviation Safety and Security in the 21st Century, which was co-sponsored by GW and the White House Commission on Aviation Safety and Security.

George Novak

Novak has more than 15 years of experience in international aviation matters, beginning his career as a senior FAA attorney specializing in international aviation matters. Since 1993, George has been in private practice, both as an attorney and as a consultant in these areas.
