hosted by The George Washington University Department of
Statistics.

Background:
Darrell
Morgeson has been on detail at Homeland Security, recently named a cabinet-level
department by President George W. Bush, from the Institute for Defense Analyses
and has been director of critical infrastructure assessment since January
2002. Morgeson has worked on
developing an analytical framework for supporting the decision-making process
for homeland security policy, planning, budgeting and crisis management
decisions.
The
GW Department of Statistics hosts this seminar series about twice a month to
discuss current research topics and feature invited guest speakers, local
faculty members, students or others affiliated with the
department.
Located
four blocks from the White House, The George Washington University was created
