FARMERS MARKET AT GW BRINGS

FALL HARVEST TO CAMPUS

Market to Feature Fruits, Vegetables, Baked Goods and Crafts from

More Than 20 Vendors

EVENT:

Student-organized Farmers Market, hosted by the GW Farmers Market Association on the campus of The George Washington University.

Background:  

This occasion marks the second GW Farmers Market this semester.  The market is planned and organized by the GW Farmers Market Association.  Fruits, vegetables, baked goods and handmade crafts from more than 20 vendors will be featured. 

The GW Farmers Market Association was formed and is managed by GW senior Joshua Singer with the goal of bringing market goods to campus.  The association’s motto is “Building Community Through Food.”  The group hopes to host frequent farmers markets at GW for the benefit of the community.
