Steven Pearlstein, the business columnist at The Washington Post and recipient of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Commentary, will discuss current U.S. and global economic issues with Dr. Stephen Smith, GW professor of economics and international affairs. The discussion will be followed by a brief Q&A session.

Pelham Redevelopment Project "Preview" Tour | 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.
Departing from the Clocktower, Mount Vernon Campus, 2100 Foxhall Road NW
Enjoy a hardhat preview tour of the Pelham Redevelopment Project, now under construction on the Mount Vernon Campus. Scheduled to open for the Fall 2010 semester, this new building will include a residence hall for freshman and sophomore students as well as a campus life center for all GW students. The new building includes a number of sustainable design and construction features and is targeted for LEED Silver certification.

Writer/Director Kevin Mead, CCAS BA '09, and Writer/Producer Darren Miller, CCAS BA '09, present Charlie on Parole, a short film starring comedian TJ Miller, CCAS BA '03, as an unlikely ex-con re-adjusting to life after prison only to find one thing: it's tough on the outside. Features performances and original music by nine GW alumni.
