HONDURAN PRESIDENT H.E. JOSE MANUEL ZELAYA ROSALES TO SPEAK AT GW

President Zelaya to Discuss "Returning Honduras to Democratic and Constitutional Order"

EVENT: 

The Center for Economic and Policy Research and The George Washington University's Latin American and Hemispheric Studies Program welcome H.E. Jose Manuel Zelaya Rosales, President of the Republic of Honduras, to discuss "Returning Honduras to Democratic and Constitutional Order." Two months following the coup d'etat that sent him into a forced exile, President Zelaya of Honduras will discuss his attempts to negotiate peace and a return to a democratic and constitutional order in Honduras. Introductions will be made by Mark Weisbrot, co-director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research, and the program will be moderated by Cynthia McClintock, director of GW's Latin American and Hemispheric Studies Program. President Zelaya's remarks will be in Spanish and translated.
