BACKGROUND:

School Without Walls is a long-time partner of the University. Walls students have the opportunity to take selected courses at GW through a structured exposure program. For the first time, a select group of 14 students will participate in the GW Early College Program this academic year, enabling them to earn an associate?s degree at the University for free while they earn their high school diploma.

GW is the largest single post-secondary contributor of aid to students from D.C. Public Schools. GW has offered full, four year scholarships to more than 100 DC Public School students, including many from the School Without Walls, as part of the GW Trachtenberg Scholarship program.
