Free Outdoor Movie Series: "From Real to Reel"

EVENT: 

The George Washington University's Mount Vernon Campus on Foxhall Road presents its 6th annual "Films on The Vern" free outdoor movie series. This summer's series will showcase films based on real people and events that have affected the world.

The movies are free and open to the public.

BACKGROUND:

GW, Foxhall, Palisades, Foggy Bottom and West End community members are invited to bring a blanket and enjoy outdoor screenings.

During "Films on The Vern," The Vern Express, the free shuttle service connecting the Foggy Bottom and Mount Vernon campuses, will offer departures from each campus every 30 minutes until midnight. Departures from the Foggy Bottom Campus take place at the top of the hour and 30 minutes past the hour from 23rd and H St., NW, and from the Mount Vernon Campus at 15 minutes and 45 minutes past the hour from The Quad.
