The George Washington University Will Hold a Ceremony

Wednesday, June 17, 2009; 10 a.m.
Doors open at 9 a.m.
Media check-in begins at 7 a.m.; all cameras must be set by 7:45 a.m.

BACKGROUND:  

President of the Republic of Korea Lee Myung-bak is visiting Washington, D.C., June 15 to 17, and is scheduled to meet with U.S. President Barack Obama. President Lee was elected president on December 19, 2007, and was sworn in as the 17th president of the Republic of Korea on February 25th, 2008.
