The new GWMail e-mail system ("name@gwmail.gwu.edu") features significantly enhanced storage capabilities, access to other Web-based applications, and the complete features of Gmail. The new e-mail services were rolled out to students on Aug.1, 2008. Additionally, as of June 15, 2008, alumni may register for a permanent GW alumni e-mail address.
