EVENT: The George Washington University celebrates George Washingtons 271st birthday with a day of colonial events.

"Campus Icons A celebration of selected outdoor
sculptures from the GW permanent collection. This
reception will be highlighted by the dedication of a
new George Washington weathervane, created by the
late Travis Tuck and donated by Luther W. Brady.
6:00 p.m. Party at Marvin Center Ballroom
Tri-cornered hats, colonial food and music, cherry pie-eating contest and more. Finally, the winners of the GW Program Boards Mr. and Ms. GW contest will be announced.
