John S. Wilson, the new executive dean of GW's
Loudoun-Dulles campus, was profiled in The Washington Post Loudoun
Extra. He spoke on his new position
and of the direction he hopes to take the campus.

Elliott School's Jerrold Post, professor of
political psychiatry and international affairs, was interviewed on CNBC's
"Hardball with Chris Matthews," NBC's "Today Show," and WXYZ-TV (Channel 7) on
the Osama bin Laden video that was released.

Darryl Jenkins, director of GW's aviation institute, had an
op-ed published in USA Today on realistic goals of federal deadlines for
airports and airlines to increase security. Jenkins was interviewed on "CBS Evening
News" about the future of the airline industry and was quoted in The Ottawa
Citizen and The Gazette (Montreal) about the proposed new airline
Canada World Airlines.

Karl Inderfurth, Raymond and Juliet Bland Professorial Lecturer of
International Affairs, was interviewed on NPR's "Morning Edition" about the
increasing tension between Pakistan and India.

Gordon Adams, director of GW's Security Policy Studies Program, was
quoted in The Christian Science Monitor about the cost of the war in
Afghanistan.

Robert Chernak, vice president of academic affairs, was quoted in USA
Today commenting on the increase in applications that GW is
experiencing.

Amitai Etzioni, University Professor, had an op-ed published in The
Boston Globe about the on going battle between public safety and civil
rights.

Robert Dunn, professor of economics, was interviewed on Minnesota Public
Radio's "Marketplace" about Argentina's financial
troubles.

GSPM's David M.
Anderson, associate research professor,
had an op-ed published in The Baltimore Sun on America's sacrifices for
freedom.
·
Dr. Nancy Gaba, assistant professor of OB/GYN, was
interviewed by Reuters TV about a "New England Journal of Medicine" article on
the link between oral contraceptives and myocardial infarction (heart
attack).
