Elliott School's Jerrold Post, professor of
political psychiatry and international affairs, commented on the release of the
new Osama bin Laden video. He made
his rounds in the media including interviews with CNN's "Talk Back Live," NPR's
"Talk of the Nation," MSNBC's "Hardball with Chris Matthews," ABC's "Nightline,"
CNN's "Wolf Blitzer Reports," and NBC's "Today Show."

Elliott School's Leon Fuerth, J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro
Professor of International Affairs, was interviewed by BBC Radio in London on
the Bush administration's missile defense policy.

Elliott School’s Walter Reich, Yitzhak Rabin
Memorial Professor of International Affairs, Ethics and Human Behavior, wrote a
book review of “The Hidden Hitler” by Lothar Machtan for The New York
Times book review section.

Arthur Frank, director of GW's weight management clinic,
was interviewed by WTTG-TV (Channel 5) and WMAL-AM regarding obesity
issues.

Joseph Giordano, professor of surgery, was featured on the
cable channel Showtime, regarding the documentary "The Day Reagan was
Shot."

GW President Stephen Joel Trachtenberg was interviewed by
Canadian Broadcast Network news for an upcoming story on the student visa reform
bill and how it will affect GW.

John C. Brunson, Jr., director of interventional
neuroradiology, was interviewed on WTTG-TV's (Channel 5) segment "High-Tech
Healthcare" about using a state-of-the-art X-ray camera that provides a 3D image
of the spine.

Derek Chollet, visiting scholar of GW's Elliott School’s
Institute for European, Russian and Eurasian Studies, contributed an op-ed
article to the San Diego Union Tribune titled “Bush's Reckless Move On
Missile Defense."

Kip Lornell, adjunct professor of Africana studies, was
interviewed regarding the meaning of African American gospel music in the 20th
century by PBS for a documentary titled "Partners of the
Heart."
·
This week's "GW Washington Forum" focused on the violence in the
Middle East. Elliott School
Professors Walter Reich, Yitzhak Rabin Memorial Professor of International
Affairs, and Nathan Brown, professor of political science and international
affairs, were in studio.
