·             Gordon Adams, director of GW's Security Policy Studies Program, was quoted in the Los Angeles Times about Secretary of State Colin Powell's trip to the Middle East. 

·             Lawrence Mitchell, professor of law, had an op-ed published by The Washington Post on current corporate problems in America.  Mitchell also discussed Arthur Andersen on CNNfn. 

·             Joseph Barbera, an emergency physician and co-director of the Institute for Crisis, Disaster and Risk Management, was quoted in The Washington Post about mass casualty medical care. 

·             Peter Swire, professor of law, discussed medical privacy issues on CNBC's "Capital Report" and with KLAC radio in Los Angeles. 

·             Law School Associate Dean Susan Karamanian discussed immunity in pedophile lawsuits in The Christian Science Monitor.  

·             Steven Schooner, professor of law, discussed government contracts on CNN's "Moneyline" and was quoted by the Associated Press.

·             John Banzhaf, professor of law, discussed the latest in fast food lawsuits on MSNBC and CTV News Canada.

·             Mary Cheh, professor of law, was quoted in The New York Times about state and local police departments having the power to enforce federal immigration laws. Cheh was also quoted by Newhouse News Service in a story on unconstitutional bans on public rallies and was quoted in The Chicago Tribune in a story on Zacarias Moussaoui. 

·             Simon Amiel, executive director of GW's Hillel, was quoted in The Washington Post about violence in the Middle East. 

·             Darryl Jenkins, director of GW's Aviation Institute, was quoted in The Washington Post about different fares for the same flight.  Jenkins was also quoted about US Airways filling their executive positions. 

·             Walter Reich, Yitzhak Rabin Memorial Professor of International Affairs, Ethics and Human Behavior, was quoted in The Jerusalem Post about holocaust survivors. 

·             Allida Black, project director of the Eleanor Roosevelt papers at GW, was quoted in The Boston Globe about a cottage of Roosevelt's named "Val-Kill." 

·             W. Burlette Carter, professor of law, was quoted in The New York Times about NCAA rules and court cases. 

·             Farid Gharagozloo, chief of cardiothoracic surgery, was quoted in The Washington Post about returning to work after bypass surgery. 

·             GW's intramural basketball team - comprised of players from the Law School, Medical School and undergraduate teams that reached the "final Four" of the University's own tournament - were mentioned in The Washington Post about the charity tournament "Hoops for the Homeless."
