·             President Stephen Joel Trachtenberg spoke to Danish radio on the conferring of an honorary degree to the Prime Minister of Denmark, Anders Fogh Rasmussen. 

·             Daily News (New York) and The District Chronicles covered CNN's "Crossfire" moving to GW and airing live from GW's Jack Morton Auditorium starting April 1. 

·             Elliott School's Nathan Brown, professor of political science and international affairs, was interviewed on WTOP-AM radio. The subject was the crisis in the Middle East. 

·             Michael Moore, director of the Elliott School’s International Trade Policy and Investment Program and associate professor of economics, published an op-ed titled “Bush’s Steel Policy is bad for Americans” in the online edition of The Financial Times (London).  

·             Elliott School’s Yvonne Captain, associate professor of Spanish, recently spoke in Curaçao (the Antilles) and Venezuela on racial and ethnic diversity in the United States.  Her talks were covered by the newspapers Amioge and Papiamentu

·             SBPM Dean Susan Phillips was mentioned on CNNfn's "Lou Dobbs Moneyline" about the Federal Reserve's January meeting.  

·             GW's Institute on Criminal Justice and Corrections was mentioned in The Houston Chronicle about a study on prisoner classification system assessments. 

·             Jonathan Turley, professor of law, was mentioned in The San Francisco Chronicle about collecting damages for slavery. 

·             Ira Lupu, professor of law, was quoted in The Baltimore Sun about First Amendment rights. 

·             Amitai Etizioni, University Professor, was mentioned in The Daily Telegraph (London) about the cultural changes that have occurred since September 11 events.
