·             Darryl Jenkins, director of GW's Aviation Institute, was interviewed on CBS' "Morning News" and CBS' "Evening News with Dan Rather" about airport security. 

·             Lawrence Mitchell, professor of law, was interviewed on "Fox Special Report With Brit Hume" discussing the Enron case. 

·             Elliott School's Kirk W. Larsen, Korea Foundation Associate Professor of International Affairs, was interviewed about North Korean refugees in China on Voice of America's China service program "Perspectives on China." 

·             SBPM Dean Susan Phillips was interviewed for a segment on CNNfn's "Lou Dobbs Moneyline" on the Federal Reserve's published minutes of it's January meeting. 

·             Elliott School Dean Harry Harding was interviewed about his life, career and U.S.-China relations by Sun TV’s “Yang Lan One on One” program, which has 140 million viewers in China and Hong Kong.  

·             The Elliott School’s Ambassador David Shinn had his paper, "Ethiopia: Coping with Islamic Fundamentalism Before and After September 11," published in its entirety in the Addis Tribune (Ethiopia). The article/paper was also distributed in whole on www.allafrica.com.  

·             Dr. James Simon, clinical professor of obstetrics and gynecology, was quoted in The Los Angeles Times about an estrogen lotion that reduces hot flashes experienced by women. 

·             Donald Hawkins, Eisenhower Professor, was quoted in New Straits Times (Malaysia) about eco-tourism. 

·             Charles N. Toftoy, director of GW's Entrepreneurship Program, was quoted in The Washington Post about the number of undergraduate students interested in entrepreneurship classes.
