·             Elliott School's Ambassador Karl F. Inderfurth, professor of the practice of international affairs, was interviewed for CNN’s "Wolf Blitzer Reports" on the topic of the Sayeed indictment for the murder of Daniel Pearl.  In addition, Inderfurth, along with Thomas Graham Jr, had an op-ed titled "Time to Address Details of Nuclear Arms Treaty" published in The Baltimore Sun   

·             Allan Gerson, research professor of international relations and co-director of the Institute for Peacebuilding and Development, was interviewed on MSNBC's "Allan Keyes is Making Sense" program about the Bush Administration post September 11. 

·             Elliott School's Walter Reich, Yitzhak Rabin Memorial Professor of International Affairs, Ethics and Human Behavior, had an op-ed published in The New York Times titled “Appropriating the Holocaust.”  

·             Dan McLean, GW hospital C.E.O., was featured in a CNN interview about the healthcare economy.  Footage of the new hospital was included in the segment.  

·             James Miller, professor of English and American studies and director of GW's Africana Studies, had his review of Robert Harm's book "The Diligent: A Voyage Through the Worlds of the Slave Trade," published in The Boston Globe 

·             Dr. Michael Manyak, department of urology, was interviewed by CNN on a new study addressing racial disparity in healthcare. 

·             SBPM Dean Susan Phillips was a guest on CNBC's "Mid-Morning Call" discussing the recent Consumer Price Index, Producer Price Index, employment numbers, and predicting what the Federal Open Market Committee would decide. 

·             Dr. Anthony Venbrux, department of radiology, was featured on WTTG-TV's (Channel 5) "High Tech Healthcare" segment discussing a new therapy for liver cancer.  

·             Dr. Shawna Willey, department of surgery, and Dr. Rachel Brem, department of breast imaging, were featured on PBS's "The Newshour with Jim Lehrer" discussing the early diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer on the program. 

·             The National Security Archive, housed at GW, was mentioned in an article published by The Baltimore Sun about taped conversations between Henry Kissinger and President Richard Nixon.

·             Elliott School’s Gordon Adams, director of the Security Policy Studies Program and professor of the practice of international affairs, was quoted in Scotland on Sunday article titled “U.S. shakes off guilt of Vietnam."

·             Lisa Delpy Neirotti, associate professor of sport and tourism management, was interviewed by The Business Press regarding an economic-impact study on the Indian Wells, California Tennis Tournament.  She was also quoted in The Washington Post about tourism revenue generated for D.C. and local businesses by sporting events.   

·             Paul Michael Swiercz, associate professor of management science, had an op-ed titled "From Me to We - A Model for Sustainable Success" published in The Washington Business Journal.
