·             Leon Fuerth, J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Professor of International Affairs at the Elliott School, had an op-ed article published in The New York Times, titled “One Terrorist at a Time.” 

·             GSPM's David M. Anderson, associate research professor, had an op-ed published in The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on America's sacrifices for freedom. 

·             Dr. Richard Restak, neurologist and neuropsychiatrist, was interviewed live on ABC's "Good Morning America" about how to maintain memory and increase brain potential. 

·             James Starrs, professor of law, was quoted in the Toronto Star about the Boston Strangler case. 

·             Jonathan Turley, professor of law, was interviewed on CNBC's "Hardball with Chris Matthews" about alleged profiling of an Arab-American Secret Service agent.  

·             Stephen Saltzburg, professor of law, was interviewed on CTV – TV's show "Canada AM" about Zacarias Moussaoui, the first man to be indicted in the Sept. 11 attacks. 

·             Elliott School’s Ambassador Karl Inderfurth, Raymond and Juliet Bland Professorial Lecturer, was interviewed by several Canadian Broadcasting radio affiliates about tensions between India and Pakistan. He was also interviewed on NPR's "All Things Considered" about what the United States can do if Osama bin Laden is hiding in Pakistan.  Inderfurth also had an op-ed article titled “Unearth the Killing Fields: Landmine causalities have jumped to 15 a day” published by The Los Angeles Times. 

·             Forrest Maltzman, associate professor of political science, was interviewed by Cyberspace News Service.com on the possible impact of the Enron bankruptcy investigation on the Bush administration. 

·             The George Washington University was mentioned in a Washington Post article about the purchase of Prometheus, an educational software system that was developed at GW, by Blackboard, a developer of online educational software.
