Here is some helpful information from your classmates (from emails)!

You can also look at websites from previous years!

I know it's late, but here are charts for the non-membrane-bound organelles (components of cytoskeleton) and intercellular specializations.

Summarized version of the gross clinical correlations from dr. slaby's lectures.
There is the possibility of a typo or several...but maybe it'll be helpful to you tomorrow!

Hey future doctors of America,

I know you may feel inundated by class material and incoming emails [:)], but really quickly, I wanted to offer additional help. I made a White Blood Cell diagram from the Dartmouth Med School pics and labbook material (attached). Also, I made a blank chart of the Gross structures, innervations, and actions (largely thanks to help from M) so you can fill it in and see what you really know.

Then, if you need some more help, my big sib, AD, sent me a link to the MSII website with loads of links for our classes.  It's http://www.gwu.edu/~med08/Studyaides.htm.

Hope that helps. If it doesn't, just delete this email, remain calm, and have a great day! Seeya'll.

Hi All,
I compared Andrea's list of anatomy structures to questions on previous practical exams (plus expanded her list a little)- thanks A!  Structures that have shown up on previous practicals are in bold and the ones from more recent tests are also marked.  Disclaimer- I am not sure everything is in the perfect category (I started this process before we covered many of the lectures and I haven't had time to QC my work), so be easy on the critiques!  Hopefully this will give you the "big picture" on frequently asked questions (some structures show up a lot) and the level of detail we should know for the practical.  Happy studying!

Hi everyone,

Here's a little schematic I put together from the lecture powerpoint on Myelopoesis and rythropoesis.  It's not terribly imaginative (I just
cut and pasted directly from the lecture), but I find it helpful to see everything on the same page.  I hope you do too!

Hey guys!

Here is a list of all of the structures listed on the dissection guide for Gross Anatomy Lab.  It's easier for me to know what to look for when stuff is in a list format, so I thought I'd share it with you guys.  I take no responsibility for leaving stuff out!  (I was on about my 8th diet coke of the day when writing this ha ha, but I think it should be OK).

Hey guys,

After pre-reading the lecture for Gross, I thought it would be a good idea to put it in a picture format. I am attaching a schematic of the Brachial Plexus, I hope it helps.

Hello, everyone.  I put the GA dissection directions in outline form; it's easier for me to follow them that way in lab, and I thought that some others might find it helpful as well.  Enjoy!

Regards,
AC

Hi all,

In the interest of GWU's cooperative spirit- here are some study info for gross lectures and labs that I accumulated from the class of 2007 and 2008- I hope it helps.
