Colonial Math Challenge

(A math competition for high school students)

Colonial Math Challenge is a mathematics competition open to high school students from the mid-Atlantic region.

Ten winners will each receive $80,000 scholarships ($20,000 per year for up to 4 years) for undergraduate education at The George Washington University. While we would like the winners to become math majors, they may choose to major in any areas of mathematical sciences, physical sciences or engineering at GWU.

Colonial Math Challenge is open to high school students (including Home-schooled) from District of Columbia as well as students enrolled in high schools in the neighboring counties of Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina and New Jersey. There is a registration fee of $12 per student.

 

The next Competition will be held on
Friday, October 29, 2010
At our Downtown (Foggy Bottom) campus

 


Registration for 2010 competition will open in the summer of 2010.
Registration Deadline will be set as October 8, 2010.
