COLONIAL MATH CHALLENGE
The second annual Colonial Math Challenge was held on Friday, October 30. The details of
the 2009 Competition, including the results, can be found here.
Registration for 2010 competition will open in the summer of 2010.
NSF AWARD
Professor Yongwu Rong together
with colleagues Rahul Simha in
Computer Science and Chen Zeng
in Physics departments received a 1.2 million dollar research
grant form the NSF titled "Understanding Complex Biological networks". This year Professor Rong is at the NSF as a rotator Program Officer and
during that time Professor Hao Wu is taking his place on the grant.
