October is Children's Health Month!

Join us for a day of engaging and enlightening discussions on pediatric environmental health in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The 5th Annual Conference on Children's Environmental Health conference will be held Saturday, October 6th at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, VA.

Our annual Children's Environmental Health conference allows the Mid-Atlantic Center for Children's Health and the Environment (MACCHE) to advance its goals of working with regional partners to mitigate the adverse impact of environmental pollutants on the health of children within the Mid-Atlantic States and beyond.

Our first conference in the Commonwealth of Virginia is highly anticipated and particularly significant. In 2003, Hurricane Isabel made landfall days before our scheduled conference at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. Virginia bore the brunt of the storm and the conference was cancelled.

Previous conferences were held in Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD; and Pittsburgh, PA. This year, we look forward to welcoming you to Reston, Virginia. Located in Fairfax County, Reston is a community of rolling hills, lakes and trees situated only 20 miles from the District of Columbia and strategically located under 10 minutes from Dulles International Airport.
