Directions from the West and Airport (Pittsburgh International)

  1. Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Exit 10 (New Castle) to Route 60 South, then to I- 279 North through the Fort Pitt Tunnels.
  2. Follow signs to I-376 East, then take Exit 2A to Forbes(Forbes Ave./Oakland Exit)
  3. From  Forbes, turn left onto Oakland Avenue, proceed one block, turn left onto Fifth Avenue (to far right-hand lane)
  4. Take the first right to the Children’s Hospital driveway

Directions from the South

  1. Take I- 79 North to Exit 59A (Pittsburgh), then follow I- 279 North through the Fort Pitt Tunnels and to I- 376 East.
  2. Take I- 376 East and exit at Forbes Avenue / Oakland, Exit 2A (Forbes Ave. /Oakland Exit) to Forbes.
  3. From  Forbes, turn left onto Oakland Avenue, proceed one block, turn left onto Fifth Avenue (to far right-hand lane)
  4. Take the first right to the Children’s Hospital driveway

Directions from the North

  1. Take I- 79 South to I- 279 South, Exit 72, Pittsburgh.
  2. Follow I- 279 South to I- 579 South (Veterans Bridge), then follow signs to Oakland / Monroeville / I- 376.
  3. Exit ramp to Boulevard of the Allies and continue to the Oakland / Forbes Avenue Exit onto Forbes Ave.
  4. Turn right onto Forbes Avenue Bridge, then left onto Oakland Avenue. Proceed one block, turn left onto Fifth Avenue (to far right-hand lane)
  5. Take the first right to the Children’s Hospital driveway

Directions from the East

  1. Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 57(Pittsburgh /Monroeville Exit)
  2. Follow I- 376 West to Exit 3B (Oakland / 885 North). And bear right off the ramp onto Bates Street (885 North).
  3. Turn left onto Atwood Street, at end of Atwood, left on to Fifth Avenue.
  4. Take the first right to the Children’s Hospital driveway
