Course Overview
The 2006 Children’s Environmental Health conference at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh will include sessions focusing on significant pediatric environmental health issues on the built environment; neuro-cognitive issues involving heavy metals exposure; environmental exposures and cancer; and environmental exposures and newborn outcomes. All participants will have the opportunity to attend each of the hour-long sessions. After a welcome and orientation by Benjamin Gitterman, MD, MACCHE co-director, Roger A. Oxendale, president and CEO of Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, will give the keynote speech. Jerome Paulson, MD, MACCHE co-director, will provide the wrap-up and evaluation of the day’s activities. |
