3rd International Conference on Children's Health and the Environment

The International Network on Children's Health, Environment and Safety (INCHES http://www.inchesnetwork.org/) has been instrumental in initiating the Policy Interpretation Network on Children's Health and Environment (PINCHE)

The PINCHE group in cooperation with INCHES is organizing the Third International Children's environment and health conference, at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, March 31- April 2, 2004. The themes in focus are the interface of health science, environment science and policies with special regards to children's susceptibility to environmental pressures.

The meeting will be linked to the tasks of the PINCHE project of looking at the science-policy interface. There will be workshops on the topics related to the different themes dealt with in the PINCHE project:

  • Children and Air pollution
  • Children and Environmental carcinogens
  • Children and Noise
  • Children and Neurobehavioral and developmental toxicants
