• November 15th, 2001: GW Greek Faculty- student social in the Marvin Center.

• October 5th, 2001: Lecture and discussion with Ambassador Tom Weston, appointed by the State Department to the Cyprus talks.

• October 19th, 2001: 'Frappe time' at Dean and Deluca!

• April 7th, 2001: Greek-Turkish night at the Hippodrome. The Kosmos Hellenic Club and the Turkish Students Association co-hosted a night of food, music and dancing from both countries. [pictures]

• March 14th, 2001: Professor Dimitri Konstas, esteemed scholar from Greece gave a lecture co-sponsored by the Onassis foundation in GW's Marvin Center. The selected topic, voted on at the Kosmos meeting, was on “Conflict and Cooperation in the post 1990 Balkans: The Greek Experience”. [lecture flyer] [pictures]
